Narrative Initiative is excited to announce Noor Mir as our new Chief of Staff. She will lead efforts to align our programmatic work with our vision and lead internal management of our organization. Narrative Initiative is a strategy hub that collaborates with movements to transform deeply held values and beliefs to make equity and justice the foundation of multiracial democracy. Noor brings significant experience in the narrative change ecosystem and deep experience leading organizations and coalitions through visioning, goal-setting, and systems-building. She joins on August 18, 2025.
For more than a decade, Noor has led organizational development and strategic alignment efforts for a diverse array of leading progressive organizations across movements, including Amnesty International, the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USPCR), Communities United for Status and Protection, and Action Center on Race and Economy (ACRE). She is a skilled facilitator and strategist who has led large immigrant rights, gender justice, and human rights coalitions through their decision-making and planning processes.

I could not be more thrilled to have her join us,” said Rinku Sen, Executive Director of Narrative Initiative. “If we want to equip changemakers at scale to lead multi-year narrative interventions, we must maintain a keen eye towards aligning all our work towards our vision.”
